These crispy chocolate dipped banana bonbons and ice creams are a quick and easy dessert that takes just a few minutes to prepare. Without a doubt an original summer dessert that everyone will like. Today we bring you one of those recipes for children that we like so much, fast, original and delicious … although on second thought it is also perfect for us grown-ups! In these simple frozen banana bonbons , the little ones can help us in the task and then enjoy!
The fruit with chocolate always looks good banana And what say! In addition we can also include some other ingredient to taste. Delicious! What do you think?
We cut the banana into thick slices. So that they do not turn black it is convenient to sprinkle them with lemon juice, and cut as we make the chocolates.
We melt the chocolate with the fat (butter or oil) in a ratio of approx. 1 tablespoon of fat for every 150 g of chocolate. We can melt the chocolate in a water bath or in the microwave, 30 seconds at full power, stir and again in the oven for 30 seconds.
We can make the chocolates only with the banana, or make “sandwiches” with two slices of banana and a cream to spread in the center, having them united with a toothpick. We can also put a generous tablespoon of the cream on top of the banana slice. We are passing the banana slices or sandwiches through the chocolate, strain the excess and put on a tray with baking paper. When we have all the chocolates ready we take them to the freezer for at least 1 hour. We remove from the freezer about 10 minutes before eating them.
Frozen Banana Smoothie Recipe
This Banana Smoothie takes minutes to whip together and only requires FIVE ingredients: frozen banana, milk, almond butter, vanilla, and a pinch of cinnamon.
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Total Time: 5 minutes
- Yield: 1-2 1x
- Category: Dessert
- Method: Main Course
- Cuisine: American
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk or milk of choice – (Note 1)
- 1 cup frozen banana (~1 large banana)
- 2 tablespoons almond butter (or peanut butter, I prefer almond butter)
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- scant 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon, optional
NIGHT BEFORE: Peel the banana and slice into coins. Place the coins in a sealed bag in the freezer the night before making this smoothie.* If banana isn’t frozen solid, you’ll want to add some ice to your smoothie.
DAY OF: Combine the almond milk, frozen banana, almond or peanut butter, vanilla, and cinnamon in a large, powerful blender. Blend until completely smooth (about 60 seconds in a high powered blender).
You can use a different milk, just check and make sure it’s dairy free if that’s a concern.
